De Brouwerij Vandeoirsprong brouwt sinds 2015 op de locatie van de voormalige brouwerij De Kroon klassieke bieren van constante kwaliteit. Met vers water uit eigen bron combineren we de kennis en smaak van nu met de bijna vier eeuwen kennis en ervaring die in de geschiedenis van onze brouwerij zit. Trots zijn we op prijzen die we al hebben mogen ontvangen voor een aantal van onze bieren.

Clear amber to red brown beer, small creamy yellowish beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, banana, more yeast, a bit malty, some caramel, meh. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, very yeasty, banana, a little bitter. Aftertaste: sweet, malty, caramel, bitter, yeasty, pretty dry, some banana peel, more yeast, alcohol, pretty bitter, metallic touch, ok but not great.

Bottle at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Clear deep amber. Sweet sugary malts, apple, raisins, red wine, yeasty, quite herbal. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Almost full bodied.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, caramel, more oxidation, banana, yeasty, overripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a little bitter up front, malty, grains, banana, dusty. Aftertaste: dry, bitter touch, soft roast, watery, funky, meh.

Pretty clear red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet impression, lots of ripe banana, spicy, a bit dusty, pretty oxidized, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit watery, yeasty, banana, banana peel, a little bitter, oxidative notes. Aftertaste: a bit watery, grains, hay, cow fodder, a little metallic, meh.

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, alcohol, sugary impression, a bit chemical, banana, more yeast, a bit soapy, floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very sugary, lots of orange peel, yeasty, ripe banana, more yeast. Aftertaste: still very yeasty, banana, some alcohol, not getting much rum though. Meh.

Bottle at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Yeast bright light golden. Yeasty, sugar, raw boozy, bandaids, marmite, cloves. Quit sweet and bitter. Full bodied. I really don't like it.
