Nitro sample at the Columbus location. Brown-black color with a medium creamy beige head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, malt and dark chocolate. The finish is creamy and roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Release #3. Murky brown pour, small tight beige head. Woody, earthy peaty aroma. Taste adds a bit of sweetness, some chocolate and a hint of the dark malts. Nice thick, chewy feel. Really nice outing from these guys.

On Tap clear pale yellow. Brief coarse white head. Aromas are light and quite sweet. Honey and a touch of citrus. Clean light pale malt flavors. A little lingering cereal huskiness. Actually not bad for what it is. Pleasantly surprised. Even a Blonde should have a few more IBUs though I think.

On Tap Dark brown, modest tan head. Very light piney hop aroma. Dark malts but subtle on all fronts. This is a hoppy dark beer for the masses. Pleasant, just not very interesting.

Draft at Boise brewery.Pretty bland.l Light, clear amber. Faint aroma and taste, genetic maltiness. Not much of a finish. Just all around weak.

Draft at the brewery. Light Holden body with scant head. Faint grainy aroma, subdued taste, but pretty much on target for the style. A bit dry, finishes fast.

Draft at Boise brewery. Dark, ruddy brown with small, tight head. Malts featured in the aroma, hops come into play at first taste. Body seems light, but nice lingering bitter finish.
