11/7/2025. Bottle shared by Robin, cheers! Region #843. India region 11/35. Stewed, fruity, grainy, syrupy, metallic aroma. Slight perfumed boozy notes. Quite sweet. Body is okay, but a small share of this was definitely enough.

Sample, thanks Robin Svensson! Almost clear pale golden, small head. Grainy nose with some honey. Sweet with light body and cleanm rounded mouthfeel. Rice and honey. Low bitterness.

A 650 ml bottle located on the shelves at the Total Wine in Cedar Park, TX late last year, being opened on a nice spring afternoon. Normally this style doesn't rate a glass for a tasting but this time I have my Karbach pint shaker ready and waiting. The appearance is gold-yellow, clear and a here-and-disappearing cover of pure white foam. It has your basic beer smell, grain mostly with some hops. Time for a good drink. Corn, malt, a bit of toffee sweetness, paper and dry biscuit. Not getting any complaints from me, I have had many worse in the style than this.

330 ml. bottle with a pull tab from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a cloudy dark gold color with a white head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Sour malt aroma. Thankfully the taste isn't sour. Weird undefined artificial flavor with a warming finish. Light, watery body. Low carbonation. No bitterness. Doesn't really taste like beer. Tick.

650 mL bottle. Unclear, orange color, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. The nose is corn syrup, burnt sugar, damp hay, and rubber. Sweet and sticky, with an acrid bitterness. Fairly heavy, sticky, and a bit hot. This is not undrinkable, although the drain was looking pretty friendly. Rough and unpleasant.

Bottle. Hazy pale gold, small white head. Corn, light malt, finish is sweet with alcohol. Bottom of the barrel type stuff.

650 ml bottle (Batch 16, Mfg 04/18), all to myself on 10th March 2019. Obtained from a strange Indian/English Supermarket somewhere in Orange County, California. Drank at my daughters place while baby sitting. Slight haze to the golden body, short lasting white wisp for a head. Corn and malty nose, taste also held a corn and malty semi-sweetness, not much going on really (like most Indian Lagers I have tried so far). Front label claims it is Expertly Brewed to International with Finest Quality Malt and Hops, one of us is obviously lying.

Golden, maltish nose with the usual plastics. Sweet, inoffensive corny taste.
