Bottled at PBF. Cloudy golden/amber, brief lively head. Fruity pear aroma. Some sweet caramel with above medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Perfumy and peach brandy, warming finish. Lots of jasmine.

Draft at Cafe De La Gare, The Hague. Cloudy yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus and yeast. Citrus, light fruit, and yeast in the flavour, some alcohol in the finish. Medium bitterness, body and carbonation.

75cl bottle. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell malts, some hops, slight hint of citrus. Taste malts, slightly hops, a fruit-peel bitterness. Soft to medium carbo, medium body.

On tap @ Kafé België, Utrecht. Dark brown with a nice big tan head. The perfect marriage, at least to me, between an IPA and Abbey Dubbel. The aroma and bitterness from the hops and the sweetness and caramel from a dubbel. Maybe it was because of the atmosphere (I was there with my son on a perfect father-son day) but this beer is instantly one of my favourites. Will rate (and taste!) again soon.

Draught @ BQ - Birra artigianale di Qualità , Via Losanna 36, 20100 Milano, Italy.Unclear - hazy matt light yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, bubble gum - mint, spicy, citrus, soap notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, soap bitter, spicy, coriander notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO more a belgium wit than a german hefe ;O) [20111109]

Medium yellow head over hazy brown-amber beer. Very spiced nose, and lots of ureum (the hops?). Honey, dark malts, bready; sweet - very dark Bock-like. Medium to really well-bodied, slick and warming. Nice beer, appears very German to me.
