Bottle brought back from France - many thanks, mum & dad! Pours clear copper with a lasting, stable, foamy, off-white, almost pinkish head. Aroma of blackcurrant, blueberry, wheat, sour cherry, lemon candy, dough. Taste has sweet-sour blackcurrant, cherry, sour lemony touches on jam- & dough-like malts. Faintly herbal hoppy, bit bitter finish, fruity but falls a bit flat. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Very light, okay.

Bottle from France - thanks, mum & dad! Pours clear amber with a quickly thinning, frothy, off-white head; some sediment. Aroma of caramel, raisin, brioche, sugared green tea. Taste has sweet toffee & raisin, cake-like maltiness with a sour lemony touch, bitter herbal tea in the back. Caramelly, fruity, herbal hoppy finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Just okay.
