Medium straw-brown body, thick, pillowy off-white to cream head. Nose sweet and cerealy with toasted sugars and light berries. Body initially sharp, then sweet, with toasted sugars, candy corn, and a leafy bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of smoke with some straw and light sweet grains underlying. Flavor combines smoke and straw well with some sweetness in the finish.

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Citrus focused nose with some light pine, earth and twiggy aromas. Light and refreshing with a medium body. Some light caramel malt with more orange and citrus hoppy flavors. Finishes a little rough with stronger than expected twiggy bitterness.

Bottle from 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Bready malt aromas with a touch of lemon, fresh grain and yeast notes. Leafy bitterness, fresh straw / hay notes. Quite bitter, almost astringent bitterness that lingers. Naturally carbonated, so ends up being a bit under-carbonated. Needs a bit more carbonation, but overall a fun zwickel from a newer brewery. Glad to see these styles being tried in Michigan.

Bottle from 8 Degrees Plato shared at DACBE November share. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam. Musty, earthy yeast aromas with some hay, dried orange zest and faint pith aromas. Crisp and clean on the palate with more earth, mineral, citrus and mild funk. Balanced sweet and dry finish, but leans drier.

Awesome. Lemon/lime/mint/dill/peppercorn/cracker/bread/Light funk/yeast earth. Spicy/crisp/drying. Refreshing. Tastes like dupont yeast/sorachi ace hops. Love it!

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a mostly clear straw yellow with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Nice crisp and clean nose with husked grain aromas and light oak. A touch peppery with what seem to be noble hops. Light wood, leafy noble hop bitterness on the palate with a touch of dried vanilla bean. Bone dry finish. Quite nice.

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a mostly clear orange gold with a full finger of white foam that dissipates leaving a nice ring around the glass. Light grainy malt, dry yeast and hay aromas. Clean on the palate with notes of dried honey, floral esters, yeast and fairly dry. Some light banana esters come out as it warms. Dry, slight peppery finish, faint lemon zest. Very European, very good. Looking forward to trying more Waypost.
