Sample at the taproom during the Land-Grant Fourth Anniversary Party on 09/29/2018. Brown-black pour with a medium frothy beige head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Sparse small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of bourbon, piney hops and roast malt. The finish is oaky with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom during the Land-Grant Fourth Anniversary Party on 09/29/2018. Black pour with some brown around the edges and a medium thin light beige head that dissipates gradually to a film. Sticky patches of lace. Aroma of oak, malt, chocolate and raspberry. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate, raspberry and oak. The finish is oaky with a berry and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the 5th Friday $5 Fest, My Little Kitchen Truck + Special Tappings event on 08/31/2018. Clear orange color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Strings of lace. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of mildly spicy hops, tropical fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.
