Can shared@pre GBBF Shindig, London (04/08/2018) - pours orange amber with a white head. Comprises sweet tropical fruits, prominent grapefruit, tangerine, citrus peel, with good malty backbone, caramel, toffee, resinous hoppy, pine needles, bitter finish.

Can split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, picked up from BD Soho, 04/08/14. Lightly hazed rich amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel malts, straw, toasted grains, bitter orange, old skool. Taste comprises orange pith, biscuit, caramel, straw, dusty fruits. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with dusty hop bitterness. Average old skool affair.

Can shared at Chris and Ruth shindig 04/08/2018. Many thanks. A light hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a a fine beige head. Aroma is piney resinous, plastic. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, liquorice, resinous hop, varnish. Palate is harsh, oils hop, moderate carbonation, chewy. Little dirty.

ABV: 8.0%. Cloudy medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, rye, sweet malt, moderate to light hoppy, pine, spruce, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, rye, pine - spruce, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180804]

Can thanks to Colin. It pours clear deep copper with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, resinous, brown bread, rye bread, toffee, oiliness, cake and spice. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, chewy, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, oily, rye bread, spicy and toffee with a slick finish.. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Old school. OK.
