Cloudy amber color, almost no head. The yeast leaves some smell of stale water. Soft mouthfeel, some rye, a touch of liquorice, and too much banana esters, a bit spicy. Metallic finish. Overall, the feeling of a dirty brew, not a very pleasant one.
Very clumsy.

Hazy light amber color with barely any head. Soft mouthfeel, but also thin; it has some malt quality, lightly biscuity; it has the mild character of some French beer from the Nord region, a bit woody, and sweeter in the final.
Simple but nice.

Cloudy dark blond color, compact head. Not a bad pale ale, bit the aroma has some vegetables, the mouthfeel is a bit too soft, the malt is rather non descriptive, and the hops, bitter and a bit resiny, donβt have the highest quality. Itβs a bit zesty though.
Not bad.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours an opaque filth dark orange brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of spiciness, rye and toasted bready malt. Flavour brings out lots of spiciness from the rye, along with prominent banana and bready malt. Loads of banana on the finish. Reasonably done, but nothing special - too much banana.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours a cloudy filthy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and light citrus hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a good mix of citrus hops and biscuity malt. Good balance with a fairly citrusy finish. Decent stuff.

Draft - Bready and some banana notes. Dirty brown with a rich beige head. Light German yeasts, banana and a long finish. Update - New yeast has cleaned up some of the flavours, less dirty and better.

Draft - Loght pale malts and tea leaf like hops. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Pale malts and some light hoppy bitterness. Easy drinking and nice.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out banana and clove upfront, with a biscuity malt undercurrent. Flavour is quite dry and less fruity than most hefs, with lots of biscuity malt, light banana and light clove. The lower fruitiness makes this more palatable for me. Still, not the most exciting style.

On tap at Callister, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out French farmhouse yeast with that litre oaky quality and dry biscuity malt. Flavour isn't really authentic, with biscuity malt and some sort of French farmhouse yeast. Not especially complex, but it's clean and reasonably constructed. Decent.

Cloudy blond color. Dirty Hefe, middy, sweetish, light banana esters, and remarkable absence of bitterness. Too poor.
