Draft - Light grains and yellow plum. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light grains and a touch of sweetness.

On tap at Callister, pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out restrained plum notes along with toasted cereal. Flavour is along the same lines, with a really boring combination of plum and grainy notes. Lifeless, with very low carbonation. I'm not sure what would inspire such ab bland, uninteresting and unpalatable beer.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color with no head. Soapy beer, lightly spicy, with some esters but no evidence of plums, a feeling of wet paper, and some vegetables.
I don’t understand what this is supposed to be. For sure it’s not very palatable.

Amber color, clean. Toffee and caramel character, a bit buttery; it’s quite sweet too, very nutty, with a good body strength; powerful bitterness, a bit resiny, a bit vegetable, not fruity. An old-style IPA, possibly with traces of diacetyl, and light acetaldehyde in the aroma. Not too bad, but not expected nowadays.

On tap at Callister, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is a big red flag, with tons of cloying cough syrupy and other weird medicinal notes. Flavour is just as nasty, with notes of cough syrup, medicinal notes, some weird sweet caramel and resins. A total disaster. Everything is wrong here. An undrinkable mess.

Draught at Callister
Hazy golden color, small head. Nice Pale Ale, very nice malt bill, and zesty, lemony hops, lightly spicy (the rye) but also a suspicion of butter. Balanced, with character.
Good one.

Dark brown color, cloudy. I’m not a fan of root beers, but I find that this version has darker beer character that keeps the root beer character more at bay, hence slightly more drinkable.

Draught at Callister
Murky light brown color with no head. Light aroma of banana and berry yogurt. Good strength, moderately sweet; it has some spice from the yeast (or is it coriander), light berry and light lemongrass, and too much yeast in the final.
Very random beer.
Brewing should be about good beers, not generic stuff in a generic beer.

Draught at Callister
Murky blond color with small head. Nice aroma of Citra hops. Luckily it’s not very sweet, and it has a good spicy character, that blends well with the strong lemon peel character from the hops. A bit astringent in the final.
Rough, but very enjoyable.

On tap at Callister, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out some spicy earthy notes and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with a rather stale bready quality to mix with the earthiness. Not inspiring at all.
