Draft - Sweet piney and roasty malts. Deep brown with a rich light brown head. Piney, herbal, citrus hops and a touch of roast. Nicely done, would have liked a bit more of the roast in the taste, but very nice and dry.

On tap at Callister, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a good mix of resinous hop and caramel malts. Flavour is similar, with lots of resinous hops and bready caramel malts. There is a weird earthy finish that is a bit detracting, but it's not ruinous. Medium residual sugar. Flawed but decent.

On cask at Callister, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma brings out really rich notes of roasted espresso beans - lovely nose to this. Flavour isn't quite as rich, but it's equally pleasant, with notes of roasted espresso beans upfront, followed by a little cocoa. Medium sweetness that is the perfect amount for this. Really well-constructed with a slick mouthfeel. Easily Callister's best beer so far.

Cask at Callister
Dark mahogany color, clean, with compact generous head. Nice aroma of nuts and toffee. Smooth, moderately sweet, with strong toffee flavor, darker caramel, roasted nuts, hazelnut, and a light touch of vanilla in the final.
I know this is just a clown cask, but it’s delicious.

Cask at Callister
Black color with compact beige head. Not surprisingly the aroma has coffee, nice one. The mouthfeel is very smooth; the carbonation is low, but the temperature is not too warm; the roasted malts mix very well with the strong coffee character, there is some dark chocolate, and some residual sweetness. Roasty final.
A lot of character, but also harmony. Excellent.

Draught at Callister
Dark brown color with tan compact head. Milky aroma. Nice nutty flavor, milk cream, with smooth mouthfeel, and nice degree of bitterness.
Said so, it’s diacetyl-loaded…

Draught at Callister
Dark amber color, clean, with compact head. The aroma has some grains and very light fruity esters. The mouthfeel is very dry; there is some caramel flavor, medium toasted nuts, and not much else to talk about.
Clean beer, beautiful look, but pretty boring.

On tap at Callister, pours a fairly clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is restrained, with herbal and grassy notes, and corn. Flavour is along the same lines, with corn, grassy notes and some bready malt. Correctly brewed to style, but rather faint and boring. It's okay.
