On cask at Callister, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is very dirty, with subdued mango, sweet lactose, dirty yeast and cleaner notes - ugh. Flavour is not quite as fucked up as some of his other stuff, but this is Real Cask after all: very sour mangos, subdued lactose, an all but depleted hops. Yeasty, sour, medicinal and just plain fucked up as usual. Amazing how you can brew commercially for several years and consistently churn out product of this calibre. Hopefully this is the last Real Cask beer that disgraces my body.

Draught (?) at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Cloudy light amber color. Smells of artificial maple syrup, it's thin, oddly carbonated, a bit sour, with some almond and vanilla, alcohol is evident, dusty and earthy in the finish.
Weird.

Cask at Callister
Hazy golden colour with no head. Smell of pain thinner, some fruit. Moderately sweet, a bit acetic, not very good, but less offensive than I expected.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a hazy golden amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings tart stone fruits and light subdued hops. Flavour is actually somewhat tolerable, with tart peaches and very subdued resinous hopping. Unusual but it's not too disgusting - about as good a compliment I can give to a Real Cask beer.

Cask - Soured malts on the verge of Acetone. Clear Amber with almost no head. Soured malts, caramel and a candy like note.

Hazy. Dull. No head. Fruit hop nose. But harsh chemicals. Husky malts. Oh god. Harsh chemical domination. I'm gonna look like the Toxic Avenger if I drink any more of this.

Flat, golden-brown. Kind of has a mild brown sugar smell. Odd. Tart on the palate...what's that? Different, uh, tartness and vague sugars. Tastes like apple juice gone wrong.

Lots of vanilla and maple light and lively, touch of tartness but I like it. Fair bit of sweetness, which helps round this one out a bit. Still not great but not worthy of hate.
