On cask at Callister, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy notes, not much cinnamon, and English bready malt. Flavour is full of bready malt, with only a hint of cinnamon. Mostly rye and English bready notes. Soft on the palate. Okay.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of melon notes indeed, but also with a perfumey and soapy quality. Flavour is offensive, with cosmetic notes, nasty perfume, artificial melon and syrup. Flat lifeless palate. Just terrible.

On cask at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of blueberry skins, medium tartness and some paint thinner. Flavour brings out perfumey notes, blueberry and moderate sweetness. Works okay for what it is, finishing with sweet blueberries and perfume. Decent.

Cask at Callister, Vancouver
Clean dark mahogany color with compact beige sprinkler head. The aroma is mild, there is some caramel, some root beer, but also βdustyβ. Soft mouthfeel, undercarbonated, mild malt and caramel flavor, and luckily this time just a tiny bit of root beer syrup.
Not too bad, the beer character is not completely masked.

On cask at Callister, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out perfume, nail varnish, a little caramel and some booze. Flavour is messy and harsh, with sour fruits, varnish, perfume and extremely boozy notes. Jagged, harsh, lacking cohesion and pretty much just wrong in every way. This guy has no idea what he's doing. Terrible.

On cask at Callister, pours a cloudy reddish deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bitter dry cocoa and English bready malt. Flavour is quite chocolatey and bitter, with subdued notes of English bready malt. One of the rare Real Cask adjunct beers that actually works okay. Decent.

Cask at Callister, Vancouver, as "Choco Rye Mild"
Dark mahogany color with compact beige head. Aroma of chocolate and old house, old cigarettes. Weak mouthfeel, the dark chocolate adds a bit of character, although the lack of carbonation and warm temperature donβt play in favour.
Ok.

On cask at Callister, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly sweet cereal malt and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with sweet cereal notes and English bready malt. It's a cream ale - not very interesting, but at least it's not off.
