Description
Flying Couch Brewing was founded in 2011 as a gipsy brewery and has since 2015 changed to a physical self-owned brewery located in the northwestern part of Copenhagen.

The beer is mainly found in the Copenhagen area but is also distributed by Det Belgiske Hus to the rest of Denmark.

Export occurs occasionally and includes Spain, Sweden (Elixir & Wine), Norway, Finland, Austria, the UK, The Netherlands and more.

Sample from tap, CBF 2013. Dark brown colour with a small, creamy tan head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grapefruit, roasted, bread and caramel malts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, Finishes bitter and fruity with citrus and toasted malts. Very good brown ale.

Draught, 11.5%. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is malty and quite clean with a rather rough booze finish. Citric and rough hop finish.

Draught. Liquorice aroma. Black colour. Small light brown head. Sweetish roasted flavour. Liquorice, hint of salt. A little burnt rubber.

Draught, 6.2%. Weak fruity aroma. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is light and roasted. Hint of bread. Harmonious and well-balanced.

Bottle. Almost clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is a little buttery. Distinct bitterness, quite clean, but rough. Buttery finish. 5 3 5 3 12

Dark brown, small yellow head. Roasted malty and quite hoppy aroma. flavor is roasted malty, licorice, hops,dry, super nice.

Draft. An unclear brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, straw, malt, and brown sugar.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light hoppy. Peachy and light grapefruity. Lingering fruity and grapefruity into the finish.
