Flying Couch Brewing was founded in 2011 as a gipsy brewery and has since 2015 changed to a physical self-owned brewery located in the northwestern part of Copenhagen.
The beer is mainly found in the Copenhagen area but is also distributed by Det Belgiske Hus to the rest of Denmark.
Export occurs occasionally and includes Spain, Sweden (Elixir & Wine), Norway, Finland, Austria, the UK, The Netherlands and more.

Bottle 500ml.Dark black colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, ash. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt bitter, cacao, sweet chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130112]

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, sweet fruity hops, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130112]

From tap at Ørsted Ølbar. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy, mango and grapefruity. Solid grapefruity, bitter, dry and yet with a sweet fruity impression. Lingering fruity crisp finish.

Flaske fra Høkeren, på hytta: aroma av gress, grapefrukt og sitronskall. Stor bitterhet i smaken, men jeg savner litt mer maltsødme for balanse. Middels munnfylde og lang, tørr ettersmak. Ikke til å lene seg tilbake i sofaen med.

(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 26 Jan 2013) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, dark bread and a spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Nice and well made porter.
