Flying Couch Brewing was founded in 2011 as a gipsy brewery and has since 2015 changed to a physical self-owned brewery located in the northwestern part of Copenhagen.
The beer is mainly found in the Copenhagen area but is also distributed by Det Belgiske Hus to the rest of Denmark.
Export occurs occasionally and includes Spain, Sweden (Elixir & Wine), Norway, Finland, Austria, the UK, The Netherlands and more.

Sample from tap, FØL 2013. Brown colour with a golden hue. Small, off-white head. Aroma with lightly roasted malts, grass and citrus hops. Taste is light bitter. Fra fat på ølbaren: en vanvittig intens smak av kaffe og mørk lakris. Et velbalansert og kjempegodt øl på alle måter. Kvelden er begynt å bli lang... Fra flaske (kjøpt på bryggeriet) på RBHD-samling på Bjørnøy, juni-18: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Deilig røstet aroma og smak, lutter glede fra ende til annen - og så farlig lettdrikkelig! Kaffe, sjokolader, vanilje og elegant bitterhet. En harmonisk og farlig let drikkelig imp.stout.

From tap. Pours golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and peachy to grapefruity. Toasted malty, light fruity and crisp hoppy. Toasted malty finish, subdued liqourice mixed with hops.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, light caramelish to breadish. Bitter, roasted malty and light chcolate. Medium dry and roasted. Smooth liqourice finish.

Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee, bitter yet sweet chocolate, hops and caramel. Initially sweet but with a bitter finish.

Bottle @ FOneFan, 8.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, strong chocolate, little coffee, medium sweet and a little vanilla.

Bottle @ Berliner Weisse Takeover Ulfborg, 2013. Day 2. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Hard roasted nose with notes of liquorice , mild spice and coffee. Flavor is cacao, dust and roast. Medium and smooth body. Warmth from alcohol.
