Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense, off-white, lacing head. Cmplex aroma of sweet desert wine, overripe grapes, noble rot with some tannins and wood. Not much more than a medium body, fruity, slightly tart with the tannins being a bt too outspoken. Almost astringent bitterness from the wood in the finish. But really an amazing aroma. 030723

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet, honeyish nose, some vanilla. Rich, sweet body - sugary. Fruity and caramelly some overripe fruit and a distinct tannin edge. A little warming, finishing alcohol. Not bad if a little to the sweet side. 300623

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear reddish copper colour, small head. Aroma of caramel and orange. Sweet with medium to full body rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and cloying custard, some orange. Low bitterness.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear copper colour, lively head. Caramelly nose with cardamon and cloves. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with dates and marzipan, quite a lot of cloves. Mildly warming finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, earthy, rubbery and some mild yeasty tones. Flavour is yeasty, some floral, zest, mild rubbery earthy and some sweet sugary tones. Strange. And not in a good way.
