Rua Senhora Alegria 10, Alvarelhos, Trofa, Portugal
Description
We are committed with excellent beer!
If we must, without profit... but always excellent beer!
Pedro Souza devoted himself body and soul to the development of his own craft brewery, which he founded in September 2013 in Alvarelhos, Trofa.
At the beginning of 2015, the result of "a lot of resilience and persistence" comes out on the market: the first ready-to-serve beers produced by Post Scriptum Brewery. Today, the Trofa brewer is proud to see the business he built by himself "grow every month".

Keg at Duque, Lisboa. It pours jet black with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, milk chocolate, dairy milk, berry and icing sugar. The taste is pretty bitter, charred, rich roasted malt, ash, umami, lactose, milk chocolate, spice, alcohol, earth and dirt. Finish is charred and dry. Medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is quite nice, but the taste is a bit charred.

Keg at Duque, Lisboa. It pours opaque jet black with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, toasty, roasted malt and nougat. The taste is bitter, rich roasted malt, quite boozy, alcohol heat, bitter - sweet, toffee, cacao, bourbon, burnt tires, charred stuff and scorched earth with a harsh boozy finish. Full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice aroma, but taste is pretty harsh. So - so.
