0,5 l bottle from Meny, Blåvand. Clear amber with an one finger foamy head in the glass. Smells malty with caramel. Taste is also malty with caramel, some sweetness. More bitterness than expected. Würzig like a german Märzen. Not bad. Below average carbonated.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear copper colour, small head.Aroma of green apples and metal. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Caramel, apples and metal. Rusty finish.

malty and slightly fruity lager aroma, a bit strong, like a strong european lager. fairly high bitterness. flavor is malty, alc. flavor, slightly fruity flavor. somewhat brutal and unrefined, like an extra euro hoppy bitter guld tuborg. I have a feeling that I remember this kind of quite non-aromatic-bitter beer taste from my younger days back in the 80s. brutal lager. I don't like it that much. However, nobody can argue it is not true to style, and it is quite neat to have history in a glass this way.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Some chocolate notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Strong chocolate notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear deep golden, small head. Fruitynose with some vegetables. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sugared fruit and doughy bread, some boiled vegetables. Low bitterness.

bottle from kvickly I think. I really like this series, re-creations of classical Danish local brewerie's beers from the past. In general, it seems albani/royal unibrew is doing a good job at matching the quality of old times. oh - the irony. and I open the bottle and it spills over before I manage to pour into the glass. clear brown to orange, smooth and fluffy mixed texture offwhite head. aroma is slighlty malty, quite dusty, reminds me of classical european lager, early san miguel from the 90s, early efes from the 90s, except a bit more dry and non sweet. the aroma instantly takes me back to the 80s when I first started to sample various different kinds of beer. flavor is malty, flowery or syruppy sweet, faint caramel, faint butter, does not taste like the aroma suggests, much more sweet and caramelly. the sweetness is not very pleasant it is neither wheat like sweetness, or malts like sweetness or the kind of sweetness you might find in traditional czchec beers. it's a kind of caramelly, dark caramelly nutty sweetness. there is some fruitiness (almost like raisins, but perhaps more like prunes). overall it's a bit of a mess and not super nice. I have no idea if it is close to what it is supposed to be, or not. I don't like it very much
