Can. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, straw, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Boring

bottle. clear dark amber, very small head. sweet malty and syrupy aroma. faint caramel. flavor is sweet, dark fruity, malty, caramelized sugar. decent balance between sweet and bitter, also the beer tastes like it's quite potent, a great dark guldøl

Bottle clear amber, huge smooth light brown head. nice bottle design with a historic local brewery beer label, and the beer recipe is inspired by the historic beer on the label. aroma is malty, slightly soapy, a little walnuts. flavor is malts, sweet nuts, herbal hoppy strong bitterness. The beer is almost too bitter, but i am quite sure it will work extremely well with food. I got hungry for snacks right away.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a tiny, off, white head. Very little aroma - hardly anything to be honest. Body is sweet and malty, as in very sweet, some caramel and molasses, brown sugar with only subdued hops for balance. A bit like a beefed up Hvidtøl (Danish Table beer). I find it enjoyable, but the sweetness may get somewhat cloying in the long run. 090321

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a tiny, white head. Light floral nose with some sweet malts chiming in. Medium body, a good, clean maltiness with a hint of toffee and a rather subdued bitterness. A bit low in strength for a Maii Bock I would say. But it's a good, clean and very enjoyable Lager. 090321

Botte 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Distinct sulphur aroma atop the maltiness, floral hops as well. Medium body, slightly sweet malts, but dominated by the sulphur and pretty hefty bittering hops. Actually a very good, hoppy Pils - not bavarian, rather North German. 090321

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with an off-white head. Subtle toast and roast. Medium body, a slight, malty sweetness, again lightly toasted malts and then some subdued but neatly balancing bittering hops. Super delicious and just right for the style. 050320

Bottle sourced from nemlig and shared at home (21/02/2021) - dark brown with almost no head. Sweet toasted malty with notes of caramel, slight dried fruit accents, more caramel and some honey like sweetness, has a rather jarring metallic note throughout, kind of normal supermarket fayre. --- Beer merged from original tick of Godt Bryg Odin Dobbelt l on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:04 - Score: 5.
