(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and a lightly burned edge. Fairly high carbonation - a bit too high for my liking. Lightly sweet, roasted malt with a vaguely burned note. Very subdued bitterness. 200506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Nut brown. Sweet and roasty, somewhat buttery. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel and a touch of resin. Solid, but unremarkable.

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear pale brown. Light sweaty grapefruity hop aroma. Dryish with clean mouthfeel. Crisp but somewhat simplistic malt character. Lightyl dusty finish with good bitterness. No masterpiece, but it works.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very hoppy combined with some caramel. The flavor is very hoppy and again with lots of caramel, but also a light note of grapefruit.

2008-02-05, draught at Ris-Ras, Århus, 8-5-7-3-15=38
Mahogany color, creamy head, persistent. The aroma is very nice, hoppy. The body is too thin, with an almost dry mouthfeel; there is a strong chocolate malt flavor and some roasted malt (too much for me); bold bitterness. Good beer, but I don’t understand so much dark side, in an IPA.

Hazy red to dark amber color. Aroma of caramel and hop, a bit resiny and fruity. The body is quite thin, with a dry caramel flavor and a bold bitterness, of good quality, but somehow dusty in the end. Pleasant.

Cloudy dark amber color. Some aroma of caramel and fruity hops. Full malty body, some sweetness, strong hoppiness of good quality, partially fruity… well, I like it.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Very typical grapefruitish Cascade aroma. Medium body with lots of caramel and distinct citrus. Dry, hoppy finish. Excellent. 300406
