About
2016 saw our founders set off on the beer research trip of a lifetime.

And on their return in 2017, they set up Double-Barrelled from a garage in Caversham. By the end of 2018, Double-Barrelled scaled up to a 24hl brewery and onsite taproom in Tilehurst, Reading.

Keg at White Hart, Chobham. Hazy pale gols. Thick foamy white head. Aroma? Not really getting anything. Vague herbs, perhaps. Flavourwise we have e a polite fruitiness and vibrant herbs which then develop a sour vinous streak. Relatively tart. Light-medium bodied.. Slick with a really chalky mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm. Slips down but in fact too easily. Does have a a bit of an edge to it but overly rather low key.

Can from Greyfriar, Reading. Dark brown. Murky. Thick fluffy foamy beige head. Aroma combines biscuity malts with cinnamon. Berry edge. Tangy. Cinnamon and caramel. Salted caramel. Berry edge. Undressed malts. Develops a coffee element. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky residue. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. There are Stroopwafel facets but it's actually too spicy and the caramel is too acrid for me.

330ml can. Very hazy orange-gold with white foam and consistent wispy covering. Aroma tropical fruit - mango and papaya notable with a slight herbal and overripe fruit funk. Flavour starts quite citric and zesty and then mango, pineapple and passionfruit come through with a moderate herbal bitterness running through. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Very good.

Самая оригинальная ипа что пил на фесте. Аромат хороший, фруктовый. Вкус очень сливочный и сладкий но в меру. Очень необычные нотки цветов и фруктов, как будто с медом, очень интересно и сбалансированно.
