Draft at Ashland ale house. Golden colored and clear. Nose is grainy and light fruity. Tatses of floral, grains, lemon, hint of white grape. Crisp palate. Enjoyable.

Pour is an almost black with some red highlights and a huge tan head. Aroma is a burnt caramel malt. Flavor is some sweet Hershey's chocolate syrup. Finish is thick and sweet with a little alcohol felt. This was decent. Aroma was a little nothing but the flavor had plenty of chocolate sweetness.

Wow, I'm glad this is a dark IPA, I find them just a little more tolerable than a straight up IPA of various styles. Pour is a beauty, like stout or porter. Nice tannish head that fades rapidly. Nose is mild IPA but with a mild dark hint on the olfactory. First taste is certainly IPA, but it has this dark attitude about it. Yes the IPA bitterness is not in yer face and much of the bitter aspect seems to come from the roasted darkness. But hey, it may be just my dark beer mind playing tricks on me, hehehh. Yea really, bitter yes, but not rude ass IPA bastardly bitter LoL. I've actually tasted some other dark beer styles that were significantly more bitter than this, fer sher. It even has a good level of co2 that helps me forget this is IPA based. Not as good as Beaver Brewing I.Porter.A, Upland Komodo Dragonfly Black IPA or even Full Pint Deuce India Brown Ale; but its pretty considerably good by my standards for an IPA!

Can shared by Patricio. Pours a clean gold with amazingly lovely aromas of mango, citrus, resin, malt sweetness. Flavor is amazingly luscious with a slightly sweet honey and hops happy town. Beautifully done finish of tropical, citrus, and resin.

2$ bottle. Nice black pour, very little head, immediately fades to nil. Nose is a giveaway to sweet milk stout. Medium strong initial roasted oatmeal stout taste. Bitter semi-sweet baking chocolate and maybe some mild coffee. A little strong and boozy, yet retains the stout experience without getting too much of that imperial aspect in it. Finishes with some molasses and dried whisky soaked fruit. Somewhat mouth coating feel in the end.

Can from Eric/Sonia: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus and mango and light pine. Taste is sweetish, somewhat bitter. Generally fine and drinkanle.

Pour is a black with a bone white head. Aroma is a slight roasted malt with moderate hops. Flavor is likewise. A slight roast with some average hops and a sweet but bitter finish. This was decent. I've had better black IPA's as this one had everything but a bit muted.

A one pint can purchased from Half Time early in the year. I have it very cold and ready to go into my ABGB snifter. The appearance is dark amber in color and a following large head of tan-settling-to-silver foam. The scent is attractive, I get grain, malt, hops and cane syrup.The drink is likewise nice, surprisingly good. Plenty of hops bitterness wrapping around baked bread, caramel, a bit of red plums and the malt again. Plenty of mouthfeel, mighty full. A fine amber ale, one of the best for me ever here well down the road.
