Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a clear copper to amber colored body that supports a thin near white head. The mild aroma offers up some hits of fruity esters, soft sweet malts and then lightly roasted malts to thin toffee notes and then to some level of crystal maltiness. The taste delivers smooth silky goodness. There's slick sweet malts balanced quickly by a crystal malt to nutty maltiness and then running into a sliver of sweet fruity esters. Into the finish there is a drizzle of toffee like reduced sugar sweetness that lingers a bit into the after taste. Solid.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is strange — must be the shiso leaf — with a pronounced herbal character along with the piney and citrusy hops. Flavour is fairly bitter, with citrusy, earthy hops, a little pine, and a dry, herbal character from the shiso. Odd idea to put that in an IPA. It sort of works, in that the base beer must be good and the adjunct doesn't destroy it. But not sure I'm convinced this is a good idea.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear golden, no head. Aroma has plenty of moderate fermented out honey, but little depth. Flavour is boozy and somewhat harsh, with moderately fermented out honey and a touch of floral character. Harsh and messy — unnecessarily boozy, but I've had worse.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is on-point, with bready malt and a hint of dry caramel. Flavour is much the same, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and light residual sugars. Well-made and on-style, even if I'd prefer a drier finish. Good.

On tap at Sideward, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of pot-like dankness but also plenty of chaotic hopburn. Flavour is much the same, with lots of chaotic floral notes, dank hops, light hopburn. It's a bit chaotic and harsh without being having the usual hazy problems.

On tap at Sideward, pours a deep dark brown/black with a small beige head. Aroma is dry and laid back, with toasted malt and gentle earthiness. Flavour is dry, with toasted malt, earthiness, and a tiny hint of cocoa. Not much going on but it's pleasantly made. Alright.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has subtle but reasonably herbal and floral hop character upfront, with a dry bready malt base. Flavour is dry, with lots of oats, subdued floral hops, and a dry bready malt base. Really liking the hearty oat character here. Highly drinkable, with a very pleasant though very subtle hop expression. Very good.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is classic west coast, with plenty of piney hops, dankness, and citrus. Flavour has plenty of resinous hop oils, some pine, and a touch of dank. Fairly bitter, oily and biting. Solid west coast on the east coast.

On tap at Sideward, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has that classic Saaz character — lots of spicy grassy hops — and a crisp crackery malt base. Flavour is crisp, with lots of biting grassiness, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Reasonably bitter and nicely biting. Pretty well-made.
