Can. A- Basil, faintest strawberry, mild plastic. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Basil, slightly rubbery, faint strawberry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- I always love Nightmare's can art. The basil is strong and there is a sourness but not overwhelming. After sipping, there is a lingering rubbery taste on the tongue. Not getting a ton of strawberry but I think most of that settled in the bottom of the can and didn't make it into the glass pour. A nice beer, but perhaps the conditions were not the most favorable for it.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour, thick, fluffy white head. Dank notes evident when the can is first opened. Aroma then settles on fruity, sweet elements. Taste walks a fine line between dank and fruit, dank bitterness taking over the finish. Latent alcohol warmth.

Very hazy golden and straw coloured body with a very large, three to four centimetre tall off-white creamy tan head that stays afloat for a long time above the 90 per cent opaque glowing body - very nice looking! Aroma of super dense honey, sugars, mangoes, papaya, guava and melons, with some alcohol noticeable on the edges, but this smells SWEET! Full-bodied; Very rich, syrupy and sticky sweet resinous notes show strongly with a light bitterness from grass and resin with a light piney kick as well, but a lot of rich fruit notes really come through with melons, papaya and mangoes all here, but the end really is about the deep alcohol bite - this does show close to the posted ABV (I feel like it's closer to 9 per cent, so hidden a little bit) and the pungent sugars that aren't very cloying. Aftertaste is rich, pungent, deep and pretty good for the style with light actual bitterness, strong sugars, nice fruit notes and a lot of alcohol, with a tiny bit hidden. Overall, a strong (of course) beer, but a nice set of flavours with some complexities and pungencies, but nothing cloying or off-flavoured - good to sample, it's still not easy to drink sixteen ounces of this, but seemingly possible! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Perfect Pour in Elkridge, Maryland on 25-October-2022 for US$8,50 sampled at my house here in Washington on 11-December-2022.

Aromas are a mild mix of pineapple, citrus, wet grain. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, slightly more tart than sweet with just right carbonation. Sometimes sour can seem salty and I'm getting some of that here. The hop qualities are very subtle. Don't really pick up the coconut. Good body and finish. Decent beer.
