Can at home bought while in RI. Dark brown pour and small head. Nose is caramel and dark fruits. Tastes of caramel, earth, raisin, plum, tobacco and molasses. Smooth palate

6 ounce draft at the brewery. The color is a near clear amber / orange. Blonde grains (blonde Barley wine). Flavor of toffee, honey, rice. ABV is mostly hidden. Interesting expression of the style.

6 ounce draft at the brewery. Hazy yellow appearance. Good melon hint. As it warms melon is grows bold. Again, juicy , no bitterness. Hidden ABV. The melon makes you want to drink more. The best expression of this top I’ve ever tasted. Nice!

6 ounce draft at the brewery. Flavor has bolder tropical fruit, slight juicy hints, no bitterness. Pretty easy to drink. Spot on the style. Well done. Pretty much do what the style definition is now.

6 ounce draft at the brewery. Cloudy orange color. Flavor has mild fruit, citrus peel, mild bitterness. Ends pretty clean. Crisp texture. Easy to drink.

6 ounce draft at the brewery. As the style should look. Aroma and flavor are spot on German yeast phenols. Banana, wheat, slight clove. Very mild spice for balance.

Tap at North in Providence. Nose way to finish meal and paired well with the crispy half chicken course. Dark brown pour smaller head. Nose is chocolate and coffee. Tastes of dark chocolate, earth, coffee grind, some fruit and milk. Medium body and roasty.

On tap into goblet at Beergarden, Worcester. Appearance is inky black, minimal off-white/beige head once it made it to the table, no sparkle. Aroma is roasted malt, earth. Taste is roasted malt with some earthy hop contribution, mild smoke. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty straightforward. Strong. Good.
