Tap at North in Providence. Nose way to finish meal and paired well with the crispy half chicken course. Dark brown pour smaller head. Nose is chocolate and coffee. Tastes of dark chocolate, earth, coffee grind, some fruit and milk. Medium body and roasty.

On tap into goblet at Beergarden, Worcester. Appearance is inky black, minimal off-white/beige head once it made it to the table, no sparkle. Aroma is roasted malt, earth. Taste is roasted malt with some earthy hop contribution, mild smoke. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty straightforward. Strong. Good.
