Dark reddish black. No head. Hard to get an aroma. Filled all of the way to the brim. Great flavor. Sweet, caramel. Creamy, toasty, has a marzen caramel red ale sort of flavor. Little bit sweet, lots of grain.

Dark black, 3 fingercreamy head. Smells like rice, smoked barley and cinnamon cereal. Creamy...very much so. With a really good sweet maple syrupy finish. Licorice in the middle. Piney, tasty

Tap, at Pro Pig. I’d never have added this as a cream ale, but it absolutely makes sense. Clear gold. Fine white head. Nose has sweet, bready malt. Light, leafy hop. Hint of the tea. Taste is sweet and malty. Hint of bitterness. Light to medium body. Foamy carbonation. A tad drying. Sweet, bready finish.

Tap. Pro Pig, Waterbury, VT. Moderate haze on a medium gold. Dense white foam is leggy and lasting. Nose has candied peel. Mint leaf. Strawberry. Sweet end of the spectrum. Taste is sweet and fruity. Minimal bitterness. Medium body. Juicy. Soft carbonation. Bitterness rises on the finish. Good gear, Alba bit sweet. Missus loved it.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a creamy, white head. A little bit tart, a little bit salty, with some lemon notes as well. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Moderately clean to finish, lightly dry and salty, with more mellow lemony acidity. Drinks decent.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours murky gold with a creamy white head. Not bad, has some decent fresh hops, melon, rindy bitterness, citrus fruits, tangerine in particular. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, notes of pale bread, more tangerine, soft rindy bitterness. Drinkable enough.
