Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/7/12
Aroma: The nose has some pine/resin hops, light citrus and some light caramel notes
Appearance: It pours a hazy caramel-orange color with a foamy head and some spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, and leans hoopy, with a nice medium-plus hoppy bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a soft carbonation, some metallic notes, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: Overall, this is basically just an OK IPA, not much more, and not much less. It works fine, drinks fine, and has a solid feel, but there's very little special about it.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours very dark brown with a foamy/creamy dark tan 3 finger head. Aroma is mostly chocolate with some underlying cold coffee. Med or Med + body. Flavor is mixed moderately dark chocolate and coffee. It has an espresso bitterness, which is balance by some lightly milky chocolate. It’s somewhat astringent, and it is on the dry and bitter side. Pretty impressive for a non-imperial stout.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours murky dark amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, but the hop is ? Full bodied. Flavor is roasted malt with hints of dark fruit. I’m sure there’s hop, but I’m just not getting it, unless it’s citrus. And I don’t mean I taste citrus, I mean there’s a sour aspect that might be citrus. With all the malt there doesn’t seem to be something offsetting it I can lay a name to. But there is something cutting against it. Earthy hop? Best I can do. This is a tasty drink tho. Think I’d have pegged it at 8 or 9%.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours hazy amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aromas of resin, citrus and bubble gum/tropical fruit. Med + body. Flavor is mixed resin/citrus/tropical with a little grapefruit rind in the finish. Nothing all that strong, but very pleasing.

Bottle from Westmere bev. Pours ruby brown with thin head and fruity nose. Tastes of dark fruits, vanilla, toffee, butter, light bourbon. Not too sweet or sticky. Hides alcohol well for %.

growler-pours cloudy yellow with a tight white head. Aroma is lemon and clove. Taste is clove/herbal bitter, then fades to lemon/coriander, sweet light malt/wheat, yeast, some banana.
