Draft at Bent River - Moline. Poured a dark brown color, perhaps a touch of shade close to black than expected. Aroma was roasted malts, some chocolate. I suspect there's some coconut, but I'm not sure if I detect it because I know it does have coconut in it or what. I described it as reminiscent of coconut water, backed up by roasted malts.

Draft at Bent River - Moline location. Poured like a bunch of crushed blackberries in a glass, kind of purple haze to it too. Aroma was also like blackberry juice. Light sweetness, despite the amount of fruit. Flavor was similar, light sweetness, touch of grain. Very light fruit tartness. Pretty pleasant.

Draft at Bent River - Moline location. Poured a very lightly hazy clear yellow color, with a medium sized white head. Aroma was lemon/lime, though that might have been the lime slice on the side of the glass. Some lager notes, light grassy character. Flavor was lime, lemon, some maize and light grain. Decent.

Draft at Bent River - Moline location. Poured a clear, bright, yellow-orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was huge tropical fruit and citrus, lots of citrus. Plenty of resin on this one too. Grapefruit flavor, citrus, resin. This is really good.

Bottle. Yellow color and less carbonation than the average yellow lager. No aroma really. Some grain in the flavor. It reminded me of a kolsch. Nothing here to enjoy and it has a stupid kind of sexist label.

Nothing wrong with this beer at all, but it does seem like an older interpretation of the style. Gold color and a tall lacing head. Aroma has resinous hops and some citrus. Flavor is balanced with sweet malt and bread dough as well as the hop qualities that make it lightly bitter.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of jalapeo pepper character, little actual spice. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of jalapeo pepper and medium spiciness. Nothing complex but it's pleasant.
