(Can, 0.473 l - canned 25/10/2016, from Alus Celle, 20170313) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, pineapple, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. The age shows but still a good hoppy brew.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Ponto Session IPA on 18 May 2018 at 13:48 - Score: 7

Pour is a dark red with a large white head. Aroma is some oily caramel malt with a minor pine hop. Flavor is rich malt which is rather dry. I also get some bitterness with a slight toffee. A decent hoppy amber ale. One of those beers that 25 years ago would have been groundbreaking but now it’s just pleasant but no frills type of beer.
