From tap at the brewpub in Solana Beach. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Crisp hoppy aroma, light fruity. Very smooth hoppy and crisp flavoured. Light bitterness and mango fruity flavoured into the finish. Crisp, vibrant and clean.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours clear golden orange with a fully diminished white head. Peach and grapefruity hops aroma. Flavour is sweet grapefruity. Mild peach accent too. Fruity and dry bitter finish.

16 oz shaker pint at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Pour is slightly hazed copper golden, a bunch of carbonation and a 1/2 inch white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of fresh resin sweet citrus and pine hoppiness. A touch of toasty malt behind that. Taste is the nose, though with big resin graininess, more pine than citrus, toasty malt really comes through nice. Finish is dry and bitter. Palate is medium, thin, high carb, very bitter and drying in the finish. Super drinkable.

Draft at Solana Beach. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, hops, and alfaacids. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, grass, and alfaacids, leading to a dry, grassy, grapefruity, and very bitter finish.

On tap at he Torondado SD. Pours a golden hue with a small white head aroma is piny and citrus hop. Taste is the same with a lot more grapefruit citrus and a light herbal quality. Water like mouthfeel Good IPA.

(11/3/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Carlsbad. Deep reddish-amber color. Aroma of hops, some flowery and piney notes, and some slightly nutty malt. Bitter hoppy flavor with some fruitiness, some sweet malt and toasted notes. Medium-bodied.

Clear deep amber with medium beige creamy head. Sweet malty aroma with hoppy and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with a good deal of hops. Piney and bitter finish.
