Bottle - Sweet, little grass and fruity yeast. Clear gold with a thin white head. Apricot, light honey and a yeasty finish. Light bitterness in the finish, an unusual but decent Tripel.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has sweet grains and bread with hints of light fruit and caramel. Flavor has sweet grain and bread with a hint of light fruit.

Draft pour on tap at Goose Island’s Belgian Fest 2013. Pours very hazy golden color, cannot see through it. Has a small but long lasting head. Generally, this is your typical American tripel with plenty of candied sweetness, mid banana esters, and alcohol popping through. Its not totally crazy or over the top but strong. Fortunately, I personally enjoy the American tripel.

Sampled at the Solstice Fest at Oak Forest, during the Blackhawks victory in Game 5). This is a small sample in a big glass, so it’s a little hard to catch the full nose. But there is that note of sweet chocolate and java. Blackish brown body with a thin layer of foam. I catch the alcohol immediate,m and am brought up by surprise by the not of chile: I had not known until I asked the brewer that there was indeed cayenne pepper in it! Not so much the pomegranate, but this certainly is a porter with a new dimension or two. A big surprise that stands out in its style.

Yeasty nose that does bring out some banana ester and coriander. But not overpowering. Bright, though slightly cloudy wit color in tasting glass. Taste does not give away any hint of the alcohol inside, just the smooth wit taste that scores close to a hefeweizen as well. Some sturdy malts instead of sweetness, and a note of Belgian funk or tartness.
