Description
Craft beer transforms four simple ingredients into something great. At Ten Ninety, we further this transformation to produce refreshing yet complex and challenging beers from unique ingredients and processes. As we reach beyond traditional combinations of water, malted grain, hops, and yeast, we are unapologetically proud to say that we brew extraordinary small batch beers meant to be thoughtfully enjoyed. Simply put, Ten Ninety is craft beer elevated.

Tap at Ten Ninety. Malty, rich, sort of has an out of place hoppy side too. Rich caramel toffee, but sort of not nailing it. OK.

Tap at Ten Ninety. Really nice Cream Ale, but I don't get much bourbon. The cream Ale is everything I enjoy about the style, clean, with an accentuates vanilla corn tone. Good.

At first I thought this was going to be a pretty good witbier as the head was huge for me and last a long time. Aroma was also very good with yeast and Spice. But body was thin watery and flavor was drab.koo

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is pumpkin, light cloves and nutmeg, and a hint of toffee and funk. Crystal clear copper with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, and a lot of pumpkin and spices.

Quite an interesting beer. Clear deep golden with a wispy white head. Orange peel, coriander, zesty yeast spice, intense sweet notes. Full slick body. Hard to categorize. Enjoyable.

Keg at Malt Shoppe Wauwatosa, 9/10/16. Slightly hazy yellow, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of biscuity wheat, spice, lemony tartness. The taste is tart lemon, lacto, wheat. Medium bodied, bright.

12oz bottle. This should certainly be in the "specialty" category, not "APA". Well enough made, you just can’t really go that right with lemongrass and green tea in a beer if you ask me. Pleasant on the palate. Drab and forced flavor profile. An OK fruit beer in some respects, but not one I will seek out. .

Bomber from Tavour labeled 72 Hour Work Week Imperial IPA. I called the brewery and found it was a new label and name for the Imperial IPA so am adding my rating here 10% ABV. Nose is pine, grapefruit, and tangerine. Clear orange with a bigger, lightly lacing light beige head. Flavor is big peppery, lightly bitter, with lots of white pepper and a bit of nuttiness. It nicely compliments the homemade fired rice my wife fixed for dinner.

Bottle shared at Sander stag. Pours clear, black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has some prunes, light roast and cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with chewy chocolate, ripe berries, more prune, some brown sugar, light phenols. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more gooey cocoa, light yeast expression, brown bread, raisins. Fun beer.
