Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy orange with a thin head and pleasant aromas. Citrus and pine with a touch of mango. Things are looking good and then I take a sip. I’m hit by a brash bitterness that lacks any sort of flavor and a grainy and dusty malt presence that is not that great. Darn the nose had me expecting goodness.

Draft: Pours pinkish-brown.....small rosy head. Sweet berry/floral aroma... Spot-on hibiscus in flavor in scent. Straightforward and nicely done.

12oz bottle scooped up in Columbus. Classic espresso, oily chocolate, sweet aroma. Really balanced. I’m pretty happy to have a well crafted Imperial Stout these days, and not some wacky variation of. This finishes slighty warm, the hops and alcohol have an interesting interplay. Rich sweetness, a lot of malt depth. Vanilla touches. Nice molasses tones. Good stuff.

Draft: Pours red-brown with a short, off-white head. Caramel malt, nutty aroma. Taste is sweet toffee. Pretty decent.....a little plain.

bottle - Pours light gold with a very small white head. It has a mild grainy aroma. There’s mild bitterness in the flavor. It’s light on the malt too. Thin. There’s an off taste here, a sour note, and a very unpleasant finish. There may be some infection. It’s not overwhelming. Yet. Something isn’t right though. I couldn’t finish this beer.

Draft: Clear, orange-amber with a small white head. Grapefruit peel aroma. Taste is orange/tangerine/grapefruit. Nice peppery/citric hops. Quite good.

Draft: Pours black/purple with a small, off-white head. Black cherry, bourbon aroma. Taste is cherry/chocolate with a slight bourbon and wood bitter. Very nice.
