12 oz draft. Smells like strawberry jelly! Its plum in color with no head. Tastes like all the fruit jellies muddled with a tart finish, distinct lemon aftertaste. Pairs perfectly with coconut shrimp. Especially the sweet chilli sauce on the side. Yum!

Sampled at the brewpub pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has a lot of bubblegum and banana, candy sugar, booze. Flavor is like a bad St Bernardus rip off, booze, rotting pineapple, candy, bubblegum, peppercorn. If you had no idea what a tripel tasted like then this would be a stylistic, yet poor, introduction.
nimbleprop (16712) reviewed Leather-Neck Stout from Tun Tavern 11 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
Sampled at the brewpub pours a translucent deep brown with some creamy, off white head. Nose has some sweet and sour sauce, malt, mild ketchup, molasses. Flavor tightens up, malt, roast, mild toast, bread crust. Finishes dry. Some odd notes on the nose, but it rebounds.
