Mostly clear copper/burnt orange - an interesting take on a pale ale - moderately tangy/acidic up front, followed by some biscuit, gingerbread, and orange peel - malt gets a bit more bready late, as lightly peppery hops and a mineral bite arrive late - mostly dry throughout - lightly spicy hop finish - solid brew.

Hazy light gold, with a fairly frothy lace - nose of lemongrass, citrus peel, grass, melon rind, yeast - fairly full carbonation in the mouth, but it is soft rather than abrasive - crisp and mostly dry - light spiciness, wildflower, lemon, melon - a little honey sweetness late - some neutral yeast late dulls things a bit, but also adds some body, so it’s a trade off - light hop spice kicks in in the finish - no noticeable flaws - a solid summer quaffer.
