Draft - Dark and malty with some cocoa. Deep copper Amber with a nice beige head. Dark malt, cinnamon and spicy notes with a creamy finish.

Can. Pour is a dingy gold with a large and fluffy head. Aromas are soapy with a slight hint of orange and not much else going on. Flavor is grainy with oranges in the finish and a soapy flavor throughout. Meh.

Sample at Daily Growler UA (as Bourbon Barrel Aged Stand Pipe). The beer is a brown-black color with a medium thin beige head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt, bourbon and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, oaky bourbon and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malt and subtle bourbon aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Brass Tap Polaris. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, wheat and malt. Light-boded with flavors of citrus, wheat, bready malt and slight hops. The finish is wheaty and fruity. Decent overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest" on 10/22/2015. The beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin ivory white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Oaky bourbon, malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of oaky bourbon, vinous oak, caramel malt and fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Growler: Slightly hazy, orange/amber with a foamy tan head. Old, old orange skin aroma and flavour.... Swett, juicy......like an orange about to turn.... Very rich and malty. Really tasty.

Draft/growler. Barnyard, orange malt, and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange peel, light barnyard, malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body.

Sample at Red Brick as part of Ohio Brew Week. Hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Malt, caramel and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with a caramel malt character and mild earthy hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Pigskin as part of Ohio Brew Week. Clear mahogany-brown color with a medium foamy beige head that dissipates steadily. Small patches of lacing. Roasted nuts, malt and hops in the nose. Light body with a roasty nut and malt character with mild hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
