Sample at the ’Smoked Meats and Beer’ tasting on 05/27/2017. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Fruit, floral hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of wheat, spice and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, grassy hops, coriander and wheat. The finish is wheaty with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a slightly hazy straw color with a thin white head the burns away quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Aroma of blackberry, hops and cucumber. Light-bodied with flavors of berry, grassy hop and fresh cucumber. The finish is mildly bitter with a hop and blackberry aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at the tap room. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and ripe fruit. The finish is malty up front with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

"Extra dry-hopped" sample from cask at the 14th annual Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/13/2017. The beer is a cloudy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a stone fruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of roast malt, fruit and slight hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
