330ml bottle. Pours a slightly transparent black with a lasting fine tan head. Aroma is mild dark malts. Beer is medium to heavy in body, sweet & bitter with good length. I don't really enjoy the mix of lots of hop bitterness along with the sweetness but if this is you then it will be great.

Bottle. Loved this beer. Nice reddish-brown color. Not much head. Smells of malt, slightly sweet. Flavor, good balance, leaning a bit to the malt side. Have to have another.

Bottle. Not as good as I thought it would be. Tastes more like a average lager than a schwarzbier. Started off good. Nice dark color, nice head. Aroma, smells kind of like metal. Taste, just not that great.

Bottle. Had this one on Grand Turk. Love it! Wonderful balance. Great dark amber brown. Aroma of nutty, toasted molasses. Taste was a toasted malt with a great balance of hops. Good stuff.

Can. Frothy, creamy, foamy beer. This was impressive. That rest was not. Aroma was kind of weak, with hints of roasted grains. Same for the taste. Overall, just an average beer.

From tap ar Temple Bar, Dublin, 23.03.25, after seeing The Flying Dutchman at the opera. Clear pale mahogany amber. Dense and fairly persistent beige head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of slightly roasted sweet malt, dried apricot and hints of pine. Creamy mouthfeel, but also a slightly metallic. .
