Bottle from Yamaichi. Nose is light coffee, corn, acid. Cloudy orange with a fine head. Sour orange flavor, touch of coffee, lemon. It is big time oxidized and sour, gone off somehow. Third out of four that have been off. Had a sip of a friend's from the keg before and it was much better than this. They seem to have a serious problem with their bottling line.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Nice hoppy nose of pineapple, orange juice, wheat, right on NE style. Cloudy, dark, muddy orange-brown. Looks like hell. Very bit citrus juice, mostly orange, rather acidic, sweet, fizzy. Decent. Not quite there, but good.

Bottle from online shop Yamaichi. Nose is cedar (sugi), with the same minerally infection nose as the Genryu. CLoudy, deep orange, muddy looking. Sugi flavor, minerals, some caramel and citrus. Not as contaminated as the mild, and the cedar helps cover it up, but certainly infected with the same bug. Damn, I hope the rest of the bottles are better!

Bottle bought online from Yamaichi. Deep orange-amber color with a loe, lacy head. Metallic, probably lightly infected nose, peaches, malt. Thin and metallic in that infected way, caramel. This was a drinkable beer at one stage and probably infected later on by some wild yeast. Not good.

nice light oak and white wine fuzziness. Good white wine barrel but still a bit unrefined. Reminds me of sound ba beers. Still I enjoy the wine barrel more than expected. It’s like a sub par left fielder grabbing a ball behind his head but juggles a lot first. Nothing smooth, but I am happy enough.

Far Yeast Nightcrawler NEIPA 6.3% I heard good things about this beer and it has a decent hazy gold look with a thick head and a vibrant fruity hop bouquet which ticks a lot of boxes. Medium bodied and sharply dry with a much less complex bitterness. Earthy piney fruit hoppiness with a bit of richer fruit notes in the finish. It’s alright. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shalom Japan, NYC bottle: seems that you can only get this in Japanese or pseudo Japanesd restaurants. Pours a light red with a white head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and lightly fruity. Taste is fairly light for the size. Some spice. Easy drinking. Pretty good.

330ml bottle from Kyoto. Pours dark reddish orange with a foamy head. Aroma of glue, earthy notes, caramely malts and herbal hops. Taste is earthy, sweet and sticky with some caramel and herbal hops. Finish is sweet, caramely and stuffy with some earthiness, malts and toffee. Sweetish and stuffy.

Bottle from yamaoka. Far Yeast Yuzu Session 4.5% A cloudy gold, it looks Ike pineapple juice and smells like a yuzu cocktail with some wheat and saison-like mild funk. Light bodied and semi-dry. Bready, Bretty, light spices, wheat and ultra-pithy yuzu. A bit too bitter and ascerbic in the finish... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee IPA 6.8% Opaque orange in color with a thick off-white head. The aroma is fruity earthy coffee, the beer has a medium body and creamy texture. Coffee and cream flavor but as with last Friday's Coffee & Yuzu Y Market beer this doesn't seem very IPA like due to a lack of noticeable hops. A decent beer though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
