Collab with Vietnamese brewery Heart of Darkness, this is probably the most sour beer I've ever had. Intense passionfruit mouthfeel.

Tap at Bakuon 2018. Pretty red color, clear. Nice cherry nose, lemon, vanilla. Crisp and lightly sweet with lactic acid and cherry, lemon notes. Clean and tasty.

Another collab from Far Yeast! Far Yeast x Brouwerij De Prael Imperial Peach 7% Opaque orange-copper in color with a thick dense head and a fruity stone fruit peach aroma. Medium bodied with a stone fruit peach flavor. Again not complex but well enough made. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Yamaoka. Heart of Darkness x Far Yeast Saigon Passion Fruit Sour 4.5% Nice cocktail like passion fruit aroma With a sour edge. Lactic toejam and passion fruit with a very light malt base. Good but for some reason I was expecting more. P.S. this is the first Vietnamese X Japanese collaboration that I know of.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours light yellow, straw. Not too carbonated - but drinking this maybe 30 minutes after it was poured out. Fruity nose, getting some passion fruit, of course, but also red currants are there. Taste is sour, clean and lightly salty. Fruits are there for the balance, overall quite nice and refreshing. Summer beer for sure, collaboration between Japan and Vietnam, so yep, brewed to be drunk in hot climate.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours light yellow straw, quite transparent. Some foam there as well. Nose has light citrus, hints of light acidity, probably easy to drink. Taste is light, good citric balance there, some acidity but not too much, feels quite fresh. Light and refreshing, lots of citric character. Far Yeast has really upped their game, hoppy and citric, that's the name of their game now.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours orange,bit cloudy but overall looking tasty for sure. Nose has some bready feel to it, light belgian spice there. Taste has relatively light bitterness, good citrus, some grapefruit peels. Crisp malty base, still citric and actually drinks nicely whan its super ht outside. Medium citric bitterness lingering in the finish. Easy to drink and feels lighter than it is.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Looks like freshly pressed orange juice, with all the residuals, just more yellow-straw colored than a real orange juice. Nose has lots of hops, some lupulin powder. Not too clean but somewhat raw power there. Taste has huge hop tingle, good bitterness and grapefruit juice zest there. NE at its best. Hoppy, juicy and ultimately tasty!
