Can. What? This is a stout. Doesn't look like stout. But......it does smell and taste like one. It's actually really good.

from a can. pour is very dark brown, almost black. smell is all peanut butter, the nose actually makes my mouth water! first taste is peanut butter laced dark beer. can't really tell if its porter or not. unlike most pastry beers, this is not cloying and is a little easier to take. yea, you can tell the alky content in this one. in the middle a little bit of burnt bitterness starts to set in. becomes a somewhat more awkward towards the finish. ends with a satisfying effect of peanut butter on dark beer. i got a case of 24 of these for about $9; that's 38 cents a can. so, i guess it ain't so bad for the price. but it ain't the best peanut butter beer i've had. can't live up to the The DeCider Presidential Peanut Butter or the Beaver Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout.

Pours orange red with a nice lingering off white head that laces well. It has a toasted caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet toasted caramel malt. There’s not much else but it’s pretty flavorful. Medium bodied and straightforward.

Gold pour that’s mostly clear with a small white head. There’s a grainy, bready malt aroma. The flavor is sweet, bready, grainy malt with a bit of very mild hop bitterness.

Tap - I’ve asked two different bartenders to confirm that the “house” beers at O’Reilly’s are unique beers made for them by Brew Link. It’s a decent citrusy ipa. Pours gold and mostly clear with a citrus hop aroma and flavor. There’s moderate hop bitterness that lingers nicely. Crisp with a little caramel malt. Rerated down to 3.4 as frankly it’s gone downhill some the last couple times that I’ve had it and following it with a Bell’s two hearted recently made the deficiencies more obvious.
