Description
A Providence, Rhode Island brewery focused on creating hop-forward craft beer and cask-conditioned ales for little Rhody.

At Long Live, we’re all about the beer – and chill taproom vibes. Our space is about community: where you’re bound to run into an old friend, or make new ones.
It’s all about the beer

We brew every drop of beer we serve here. We constantly evolve our menu because we never stop exploring what’s possible – and revisiting favorite profiles from the past. Most of our product is available only in the taproom – so come often to enjoy the latest.

We are hop-focused, but continue to explore the spectrum of styles that we love to drink. We’ve introduced over 40 new beers in 2018, and will be rolling out an expanded facility + barrel aging program in 2019, along with new partnerships and events that celebrate the collaborative nature of Providence.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Dark, clear. Small, tan head.
Nose is rich, fudgey malts with some vegetal rum and big bourbon spice. Good sweetness to the bourbon and rum, and of course the coconut which is fruity and forward. Pleasing acidity keeps it balanced and no alcohol is noted.
Sweet, not too sweet, though, with excellent acidity and mild roast alongside both fruity and toasted coconut character. Some rum dryness and plentiful sweet, round, soft, moderately spicy bourbon. Good deal of coconut, but it's endearing. Not syrupy or excessively sweet. Very nice, as usual from LLBW.

Rich and robust with tropical fruit rind and deep mineral and spice. Clean, aromatic.
Soft with pillowy malts and juicy, rich citrus and spicy, Nelson rich white grape with only a bit of herb. Great bitterness, lots of pepper. Dank, subtle, spicy. Drying heavily in the finish.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Gently hazy, deep violet blackberry. Small, pink head.
Omfg, that vanilla....that's about as good as it gets for vanilla bean. Kind of steals the show, but whatever.
Juicy raspberry and soft, rich vanilla with a lighter body, light tartness and no big aggressive anything. Just a juicy, fruity, pleadingly tart ale with real raspberry and insanely well done vanilla bean.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Heavily hazy, pale brass-golden. Small, white head.
Ultra, ultra floral, tangerine rind IPA. Not my jam. Huge clementine. Long, long lingering over ripe orange rind.
Fares a bit better in the mouth on account if the deep malt. Good attenuation. Floral bitterness and spice with huge tangerine and orange rind. Juicy, soft, fruity, good bitterness. But yeah, bit too much floral tangerine for me.

A4 draught, 8/27/25.
Heavily hazy, pineapple-lemon-bronze. Small, frothy, white head.
Interesting nose. I guess the Cashmere is most prominent? But there's a little bit of everything. Lots of woody spice and pineapple but not punchy. Citrus, stone fruit join in. Cracker and biscuit from malt. Clean.
Lots of juice and spice. Nelson and Cashmere complement one another and intensify the spiciness. Light juice, light wheat like chew and some cracker, ending dry. Clean, juicy, amply bitter and very flavorful for its size.
