About
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

10 years younger than the last bottle I've tried, and with about 8 years less aging. Light gold. Stone fruit light sour nose, mild head with high carb. Flavor is lightly cara-reminiscent, relatively simple sour flavor, lemon overtones and former-biscuit undertones. Might need more time to age.

Bottle. Bit of a gusher! Almost clear dark golden to amber with very big off white head. Feep oak, typical Lindemans funk, bread crust, zesty, light leather. It's old, woody and full of sweet grains, but also bright and zesty, a lovely match. Medium sweet and sour, over medium bodied. This is a lovely beer, too bad it's so wild and gushing.

0.25 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', best before June 2027. Slightly hazy, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, pink head. Sweetish, rather fruity aroma of cherry juice and hints of almond. Very sweet, minimally sourish, rather fruity taste of cherry juice, some sherbet powder and traces of almond, followed by a short, minimally tartish finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, but way too sweet for my liking.

0,75l from bottle at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Amber clear color, small white head. Smells funky, earthy, citric, peppery, oak. Very nice funky smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes funky, citric, earthy, oak. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, funk and oak notes. Very nice one, lovely funky notes

Aroma: nice funk with some acidity. Smells like a good Cuvee Renee (of which I have drank 7+ cases).
Taste: along the same lines, pretty sharp (in a good way), some light sweetness, full-bodied.

Poured from 750mL bottle (Pure 2017 aged 7 years; bottled October 2023; bb October 2033). Brown-ish gold with full white head. Soft funk, feint manure, creamy carbonated head, there's an underlying subduedness with some lightly aggressive notes. Not totally balanced, but easy drinking.
