(473ml fresh can shared by Luc on Nov 12/19, thanks a ton!) Pours moderatelly hazy pale orange with a thick white head and lace. Notes of sweet pungent mango flesh, peach, tangerine, papaya, white grape, fresh grass and light weed, rather sweet and quite juicy with pretty clean malt carrying a light biscuit character. Finish is off-dry, quite fruity with persistent mango and some fresh grassy Nelson, light bitterness and no alcohol or hop burn presence. A really nice highly drinkable DIPA with no rough edges and a nice hop profile.

Intense fruité aux notes d’ananas, de pamplemousse, de résine de pin. Intense également le grassy de dry-hop. Caractère malté légèrement toasté et touche d’alcool sont également au programme. Une bonne mousse crémeuse se dépose sur un liquide doré jaunâtre et flou et persiste de longues minutes. Extrêmement sucrée et fruitée à l’entrée de bouche. Mélange de bonbons fruités avec de la résine de houblon en accompagnement. Les sucres résiduels sont explosifs et emplissent la bouche complètement. Le profil malté est assez fort et reflète des notes de caramel. La finale étale pas mal de sucres et présente une toute petite amertume. L’alcool est assez bien intégré. Le corps est assez ample et la texture bien soyeuse. Intensément fruitée cette NEIPA est bien équilibrée et extrêmement goûteuse.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of creamy sweet chocolate notes with some vanilla and cocoa notes is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of creamy sweet chocolate notes with some vanilla and light peanut butter notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Another superb pastry stout with just enough residual sugar to keep drinkability at a good level.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of liquid fudge with nice mix of sweet black chocolate notes, coconut and vanilla with some residual sugar also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of liquid fudge notes with some creamy sweet black chocolate notes with some light coconut and vanilla with a sweet finish. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Very enjoyable pasty stout with good drinkability. Not sure I could distinguish the macadam nuts thought.

Draft: Poured a bright purple with a medium size foamy head with good retention. Aroma of fresh raspberry and blackberry notes. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some fresh berry notes with light acidity. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable smoothie type beer with good balance overall.

Draft: Poured a light green-ish color beer with a medium size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of fresh pineapple and mango notes is enjoyable. Taste is a mix of tart notes, light acidity and huge fresh notes of mango and pineapple. Body is full with good carbonation. I’m not necessarily a huge fan of smoothie beers but this one as well brewed and balanced.
