Poured from 473mL can (12/09/2024). Clear pale blonde gold with small white head. Clean pils malt with citrusy lemongrass-like hops. Still not sure what an Italian pilsner is, but this okay.

Can from the brewery
Pale blond colour, clear. The aroma is mildly piney and herbaceous. Dry, crisp, mouthfeel, with mild crackery malts; bold hopping, with sharp herbaceous components, and piney resins in the finish. It's not a Southern Germany helles (it would need more more liquid bread, and more grassy hops), it's also not as impressive as the original Amarillo Pilsner was, but it's bold and full of good elements, a standout in the Province.

Slight haze, pale. Thin head. Spicy hop, clean pale malt, lowish bitterness, but yeah the key is the unique hop character. And it’s good. It's funny because HBC 586 is a way better brand than Krush, which has to be the most adolescent name for a hop.

On tap at Slow Hand, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly tangy, almost tasting like NZ hop expression, with light citrus and some biscuity malt in back. Flavour is biting and tangy, with lots of gooseberry, spicy hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Tangy, biting and very crisp. Very good.
