Draught at Yellow Dog, Port Moody
Pale blond colour. For a lager, it's fruity, estery; the flavour is really weak, watery; short finish.
Ok, but quite useless. Lite could mean light abv/cal, this is flavourless.

Okay cloudy yellow body and modest foam. Some sour sharp lemon notes on the nose, wine? Naw, that's crazy talk. Taste is sharp lemony hops, zesty almost, finishing refreshing with good carbonation. I guess I didn't get the context, it's okay as an IPA but nothing points toward a wine IPA.

A taster shared with Alex (f@ck you COVID). Appearance: cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma: smells like exhaust gases with some manure, puke, and fruity character. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: thanking to Nelson Sauvin I do NOT really like this beer.

473mL can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out plenty of lacto and a touch of grape must. Flavour is very yogurty upfront, with a touch of grape must. Way too lacto-y, lacking depth or complexity. Fairly underwhelming and nothing interesting about this. Lame.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly pleasant, with fresh weedy hops, some doughy malt, and light dankness. Flavour is miles away and actually quite offensive, with dirty, garbage water, earthy hops, crusty bready malt, and feet. How the hell does this smell so good and taste so bad? The hop expression is really bad.

Quite pale, slight haze. Thin head. Has a fair bit of vinous, oniony hops. Is that sauv blanc? I don’t drink that one too often. Light tartness, and a fair bit of residual malt. Definitely comes across more as hops than grapes. Seems relatively sweet, so I’d almost want a bigger hit of hop, but it’s not bad.

Penticton Beer Week collab, brewed at Neighbourhood. Available at all the breweries (except Abandoned Rail, which isn't open yet). Gold colour, just a thin head. Only a slight haze. Light tartness but a fair bit of residual sweetness. Touch of papaya sort of hop, mild overall but refreshing and balanced.

Slight haze, pale amber. Thin head. Slight citrus, wood, pine sort of thing. Lots of bitterness. Solid pale malt. Touch of alcohol. This is solid ipa.

Amber and a bit murky. That’s quite weedy. On the palate, too. Malt base just ok.

Golden, bright, medium head. A little light on the nose, but has more light toast and bread on the palate. Sort of fruity hop notes. A bit too fruity to really hit it for me.
