Description
We have been best friends of over 30 years, and Container has been our dream for many years. We have been literally building this thing with our barehands, shedding blood, tears and sweat while sharing laughs on the daily. There's never a dull moment here at Container.

The dream is now a reality that is taking shape. We look forward to sharing the results of our hard work with you!

As outdoor enthusiasts we like to get out and experience the world; this is the thinking behind Container Brewing. We want to give people the ability to enjoy good beer anywhere by providing you with only cans of our best products.

We’re building a lounge where you can sit and drink your beer, have a bite to eat, while enjoying good conversation. Our unique space will have you thinking about where to sit before you even arrive.

Our Head Brewer, Tim Juul, comes to Vancouver with a different perspective. His brewing techniques, and recipe styles, come from his experience in the New England area. We love what he's done for us so far and we know you will too.

Hazy, pale, medium head. Some weird smokey notes. Some candyish stuff here, krush maybe, weak malt.

Bland, slightly sticky wheat, maybe banana, but no real sense of purpose. They put coriander in a weizen? Tf they doing?

Unpolished gold, no head. Flabby malts, somewhat oniony hop, lowish bitterness, this one is a miss. They reformulated to this?

473 ml can. Pours a reddish brown with full head. Aromas of dry caramel, bready malts and a bit of metallics. Flavors of same without as much metallics and some additional dull nuttiness. Nothing wrong, but nothing to write home about either. Malty and easy to drink I guess…

On tap at Container. Pours clear gold with a white head. Bright pine, some resins, and biscuit malts on the nose. Flavour has bright pine, some tangy berries, resin, biscuit malts. This is way better than it has been in the past.

Medium amber-brown colour. Not much head, for some reason. Some toffeeish dark malt on the nose. Good body. Not the most expressive malt - that's execution, because the recipe actually seems pretty good. There's solid complexity of breadcrusty, toasty sort of malts, along with brown sugar notes. Lowish bitterness, maybe on the low end for a bock. Alcohol is hidden, so this drinks the way a good bock should drink.
