As outdoor enthusiasts we like to get out and experience the world; this is the thinking behind Container Brewing. We want to give people the ability to enjoy good beer anywhere by providing you with only cans of our best products.
We’re building a lounge where you can sit and drink your beer, have a bite to eat, while enjoying good conversation. Our unique space will have you thinking about where to sit before you even arrive.
Our Head Brewer, Tim Juul, comes to Vancouver with a different perspective. His brewing techniques, and recipe styles, come from his experience in the New England area. We love what he's done for us so far and we know you will too.

On nitro tap at the brewery. Pours murky yellow with a white nitro head. Light nose; some tangy tropical fruit. Flavour has tropical fruits, gentle lemon, some tang. Creamy nitro mouthfeel. Nothing too wrong, but nothing particularly good either.

On tap at the brewery. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Very light nose. Flavour has astringent pine, citrus peels, pith, lots of chalk. Overall pretty thin and dry, almost stale.

473ml can. Pours a murky amber orange with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, peach, passion fruit, earthy yeast and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, orange, lime, passion fruit, peach, earthy yeast and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a thick, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable.

473 ml can. Nitro. Pours a very dark brown with moderate nitro/foamy tan head. Aromas of vanilla, creamy chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional mocha. Quite creamy. Nice enough and easy to drink.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Beautiful amber colour, bright, sunny, with chill haze; medium sized, tan head. Caramel character, mostly; a bit nutty; mild sweetness, it's not as rich or deep as a Barley Wine should be, this is mostly a Strong Ale; a bit boozy; light vanilla.
It's ok.

16oz @ home shared with Alex (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: clear copper with a beige head. Aroma: malty, some caramel and booze, maybe a slight dark fruit character. Taste: along the same lines, no oak, no caramel, just quite high bitterness in the finish. Overall: meh.

473 ml can. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of doughy malts, mashed stoned fruit, a little citrus, and a little pine. Flavors follow same with more emphasis on pine; though still lots of bready malts. Tidy bitter finish. Clean. Very good.
