473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of coffee, nutty chocolate and soft roasty malts. Flavors of bitter black coffee with just a bit of cream, more nutty chocolate, a bit of plastic and roasted barley.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of petroleum, moderate hopburn, and some dankness buried beneath the aforementioned undesirable elements. Flavour is harsh and messy, with plenty of hopburn, booze, petroleum, followed by some sweetness, dank citrusy hops, and abnormally high carbonation for the style. The sugars in there somewhat calm the undesirable notes, but this is an uncoordinated, difficult-to-drink mess. Not good at all.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours a cloudy yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma has bright lime, a touch of lemon, and plenty of saline. Flavour is bright and citric, with plenty of lime, fresh lemon, and saline, finishing dry, citric and salinic. Reasonably constructed, with the right contributions from the citrus and salt. Solid.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours a mostly clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of coriander upfront, followed by lime leaf, and a touch of the ginger/galangal. Flavour is much the same, with coriander upfront, light lime, and a tiny hint of the ginger/galangal. Lots of coriander on the finish. Pleasant.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma has gentle floral dry-hopping, soft biscuity malt, and some earthiness. Flavour is clean, with soft biscuity malt upfront, very gentle floral notes, and some earthiness. It’s on-point but it’s a style I still fail to see the point of.

473mL can, pours a hazy dark copper with a small white head — that doesn’t look too good. Nose is rather muted and lacking expression — at least no diacetyl — with gentle pine and dry bready malt. Flavour is a little more expressive, with bitter piney hops, some murky earthiness, and dry bready malt. Dry, bitter, a bit jumbled but decent hop expression. Why did they put oats in this? Not bad but not fully satisfying.

473mL can. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Toasted rye bread on the nose. Flavour has a toasted rye bread malt character, bread crusts, a bit of dry grass. Decent enough.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with minimal white head. Lime juice, kettle sour, touch of salt. Nothing special.
