750ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex, Phill, and Josh, trying to figure out the Okanagan trip because weather is preventing us from Golden Ears camping π¬.
Aroma: farmhouse notes, a bit malty and dirty.
Taste: along the same lines, very bubbly, a bit bitter.
Overall: ok.

Pale amber, effervescent. Nice aroma - mild bugs and I swear still some floral hop. Medium bitterness, well-balanced, again a touch of bugs. Pretty good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Chill hazed gold with small white head. Lots of carbonation, saison yeast, quite dry floral hopping underlies, decent.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. Oily resins, pine, and citric fruit on the nose. Flavour has a pretty oily hop expression, pine, citrus fruit. Not bad, a bit tame.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish yellow gold with small white head. Lightly dank, melon hops with gentle tang and very feint bitterness, light biscuit malt, quite nice.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is vibrant, with bright, tangy, NZ-style hop tang (not sure what hops are in here), bright pine, and tropical melonβdamn. Flavour is bright, dank, and tangy, with lots of pot-like hops, some citrusy hop tang, melon, bitter pine, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Damn, 33 Acres doing good IPAs in 2026? They say this is neither hazy nor a bitter west coast, but this is clearly the latter with a more vibrant, tropical, dank hop punch, and has nothing to please the haze crowd. Clean, fresh expression. Surprisingly great.

473 can. Pours and ugly thick chalky pink with no head. Aromas of pomegranate, mezcal, oak, lemons and wheaty malts. Flavors of pomegranate, strawaberries, citrus, cherries, and more wheaty malts. Maybe some salt. Can really call this mess a Gose, but it is a tasty thick fruit beverage.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a cloudy, muddy reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma is full of the cherry juice upfront, followed by pomegranate, some and citrus, which all drowns out the gose-like and mezcal qualities. Flavour is dry and yet fruity, with lots of fermented out cherry and pomegranate juice, a touch of saline that comes across more mineraly, and a lightly tart finish. Not noticing any mezcal character. Pleasant dry fruited kettle sourβnot convincing as a gose.
